Is a subsidiary Company of the state mining cooperation STAMICO operating the gold mine. The mine is located in the Biharamulo forest reserve, south west of Mwanza in Kagera Region. In order to run the mine effectively and efficiently the company invites applications from qualified candidates to fill the existing vacancy detailed below

THE ROLE MODEL:
- Medical Officer will be reporting to the clinic Supervisor ensuring the clinic delivers a high standard of patient care provided by the nursing , also will ensure good working knowledge and utilization of clinic
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing health care on daily basis including normal an on call consultation, providing medical advice to employee, infectious diseases, diseases out break vaccination and travel advice,
- Participating the physical medical evacuation process by road or air as circumstance require,
- Implement all occupational health program, employee, assistance, programs, Malaria control program, health promoting program and HIV/AIDS control,
- Involved in planning and implementation of health promotion activities, delivery of awareness session/ training to employee,
- Decisiveness, resilience and resourcefulness with high degree of confidentiality,
- Strong and proven management ability with leadership qualities are essential,
- High level of interpersonal skills team player, flexible, attentive, to eletalis result oriented.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A holder of doctor of Medicine degree from any recognized University,
- Maintaining clinical registration to practice in Tanzania,
- A minimum of 3 years of working experience in medical practice post internship,
- Experience in mining industry is an added advantage,
